This little boy in this tummy here, will be here in just a few short weeks. I had the opportunity to do this mama’s maternity portraits, and I can’t wait to meet this little man and do his newborn portraits! Mom did great and was up for anything I made her do – even getting on the ground and struggling to get back up!
The last time I took her pictures, she was probably around my oldest daughters age – maybe 7yrs old. She’ll be 12 soon and she’s getting a little brother soon! She certainly has grown up a lot!
For the end of 2011, I decided to get one last portrait of my kids before the New Year of 2012 began. I was actually pleasantly surprised to get a picture of Tristan LOOKING and SMILING! Very rare you guys! Haha!
Here is my 2nd family of the day. Beautiful family. Very outgoing and willing to do whatever! Would love to work with them again.
I had two mini sessions this morning. Both happened to be families. This was the first family. You might remember the little girl from one of my fresh faces contest. I was thankful to be able to photograph her entire family for them right before the Holidays.
Just wanted to share my own Christmas portraits of the kids – just a few of them anyways
All of these little girls are really close to my kids when it comes to ages, so I know just how difficult getting 3 this age all together. I was pleasantly surprised to see all 3 do really well! Much better than trying to get all 3 of mine at the same time. And, ofcourse, we had to do a family portrait. Love it!
Today I had my last Fresh Faces contest winner. She was sooo beautiful and had these gorgeous big brown eyes and long eyelashes. A perfect little model!
I am pretty sure the hardest task a photographer will ever have to go through, is taking portraits of their OWN kids. My girls aren’t too bad, but give me limited time to photograph them (maybe 7-10mins if I’m lucky) and my son… yeah.. forget about it!
