Doing Fall portraits in Florida can be tricky, especially since it’s ALWAYS green here. I’m used to the browns, yellows, oranges and reds each fall. But, this momma had a wonderful idea to put a spin onto Fall in the state of Florida. She put a country kick with fall props. Turned out cute! She brought her own props, which is probably a good thing, as he wasn’t fond of mine. Haha!

My first newborn session in Florida was today. It’s actually my 2nd on location newborn session ever since I typically did them in studio. I prefer on location though since I can make the background more creamier. Baby is typically more comfortable in their own surroundings too. This little boy did so well for being almost 3 weeks old. He was so sweet and was an absolute angel. Mom and Dad were so nice and just go with the flow type of parents. Very calm and collected. You’d never know they were first time parents. Everything just came so natural with them. I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peak of Little G. He was amazing to work with.

As summer ends and fall approaches, I took some time to get a few pictures of my kids. I have actually been really bad about taking their pictures. I have a lot of snapshots and while that is a very good way to be, it’s not getting my kids used to being in front of the camera anymore. I already have issues with Addison wanting to model for me and Tristan… haha! Getting him is near impossible.

I can’t believe how fast this past year has gone. My little guy just turned a year old on June 19th. I also realized that I never did share his 1yr portraits over on my business blog. So, here’s a little share!

This little girl did a good job of not using the bathroom on my blankets and saved it for daddy. Haha! This little angel was so cute. For being jostled around a little bit, she did fantastic. All these newborns lately make it really bittersweet that my guy will be a year old soon!

I did this families maternity and maternity/family portraits at the beginning of May. Her little boy came into this world nearly 2 weeks ago, and today, I had the chance to photograph this cutie pie. We had some kinks in the beginning, but once that little prince charming went to sleep, it was pretty much smooth sailing.

This little girl has been walking for awhile so we had to give her a lot of things to do with her hands to keep her from running off. She is such a beautiful little girl, and I’m happy that I was given the opportunity to photograph her.

I did this little girls newborn portraits and mom came back for her 6 month portraits. Unfortunately, it sucks that I wont be around for her 1st birthday portraits! I was supposed to do these last week but being that my 2 kids and I had strep, I had to reschedule. It turned out to be a beautiful day and little B did wonderfully. She’s so cute!

And this one cracks me up!

You’ll remember this little girl from a few weeks ago. We did some of her portraits in studio and we just recently did an on location photoshoot with her yesterday. She was definitely on the go. Hard to get her to sit still just long enough for me to snap a picture. Well, I didn’t expect her to sit still, but when she’d crawl towards me, she was too fast that she got too close before I could snap the picture. Haha! What a cutie pie. I think we did manage to get a few really cute ones though. Hopefully mom is happy.

So, not only is this little girl turning 1 yrs old, I also just celebrated my studio’s 3rd birthday the day this little girl came to do her portraits. This is a little girl to a good friend of mine. She had me laughing at her cake smash skills. She’s so funny and cute.
