I know that I am still on maternity leave, but I will ALWAYS make an exception when I am “off” for a newborn session. Newborn sessions are very important and you only have such a short window to get them in for portraits. When L contacted me and asked for newborn portraits in August, I quickly made an exception for baby T and got her in here within a few days of contacting me.

Little T is absolutely adorable. She started out wide awake but after awhile we were able to get her to go to sleep and then the rest of the session was a breeze. She did very well! I hope to see her back in my studio at the beginning of 2011 for her 6 month portraits.

One of my best friends had their daughter just a little over 2 weeks ago. Ofcourse, I dragged her over here so that I could get some beautiful newborn portraits of her. Once this little one fell asleep, she was a dream to photograph. She practically let me do anything with her once she was in a deep sleep. Having this little one around makes me excited about meeting baby #3 this summer! Thanks, H, for letting me photography baby C.

It is now officially spring! Yay! I’m so excited! The weather has been gorgeous lately and I’ve been out and about enjoying it.

Today, I had the opportunity to photograph a gorgeous little 6 month old girl. Unfortunately, she was a bit under the weather and not feeling so great. Even with not feeling well though, this little girl was a trooper. She was such a little cutie pie and her parents were great to work! Thanks S, for letting me photograph little J.

Little A (see below) brought her cousin with her for his own little session. These little ones were such cutie pies. Little N was pretty tired during his session and was ready to pass out by the end but we still got some really cute portraits. Their families were great to work with. Thank you T for letting me photograph Little N.

I don’t photograph too many babies between the ages of Newborn and 6 months, but I missed the opportunity to photograph this little girl shortly after birth. Little A and her family came over today and we were able to get some cute portraits of her at 3 months of age. Thanks B for allowing me to photograph your baby girl! I had the opportunity to take a beautiful little girl’s newborn portraits. She was my first newborn session of the year. This baby girl was so cute and her mom and grandma were a big help. They were such nice people, and I hope to get to see them again in 6 months when this little girl is ready for more portraits! I met the sweetest, happiest little girl today! She was SUCH a cutie pie. I enjoyed working with her alot. Her mom and dad can bring this beauty back into my studio any day. To see all the smiles this little girl was giving the entire time she was here made me so happy! She just lit up the room with her smile. I’m so glad I got to meet Little E and her family! There was so many cute portraits to choose from for their sneak peak. I’m going to enjoy editing this session!

This afternoon, I had a photoshoot with a beauty of a newborn. Unfortunately, she was not really in a portrait taking mood, so they are going to come back early next week to see what else we can get. I hope that we are able to get some really cute stuff, as mom and dad were super excellent troops today. I did manage to get a few good ones with mom and dad though.

This morning a pure cutie of a newborn came through my door. He didn’t want to sleep at first, but eventually we were able to get some really cute and sweet sleeping portraits of this little guy.

Today, I photographed a sweet little 6 month old baby boy. I seem to be getting alot of boys to photograph lately. This sweetie had such a cute smile and long gorgeous lashes.
