Spring is right around the corner! I’m so excited. I am more than ready for warm weather and the next coming sessions I have coming up. The snow and cold weather has really taken a toll on me, but I’m more than ready to get back to work. Remember, I most likely will not be available from mid-June to the end of July so if you wish to book a session, contact me as soon as possible so we can set up a session. Weekends are filling up quick for the spring and beginning of summer.

Today, I had a holiday photo session with these two kids, along with a cake smash for the littlest one who just recently turned a year old. That lil boy was in LOVE with those cookies and cake!

Today, I took Addison outside to try to get some portraits of her. She NEVER lets me get anything of her outside, she much prefers my studio, but since my studio is in the process of being moved into another room in the house, my studio equipment is not available for me today. So, I bribed her with some smarties and took her outside. I think she’s got a little bit of a cold coming on so she isn’t feeling 100% but I was pleased with what I got considering getting any of her outside is a task in itself. It’s chilly outside today, so we are in long-sleeves and sweaters.

This afternoon, I photographed a very cute and energetic little girl! She has such an amazing personality and cracked me up! Her mom always brings the cutest outfits to her sessions.

“S” I hope that you like the sneak peak and we didn’t stress you out too much at the session ;). “Z” is a cutie pie and I can’t wait to photograph her again.

The other day I attempted at getting my girls not only separately, but together as well for photos. My idea was to get something I could put on their birthday announcement. We’re not doing birthday invitations, but I want to send out an announcement to our friends and family members of the girls just to announce that they are growing up. We’re actually headed to Disney World for their birthday next month. I think I’m more excited than my oldest daughter is.

Anyways, here are just a few portraits from the other day.

This little girl was from my giving back session. She won a few months back, and we did portraits for her 2 year birthday. She’s such a cutie and so smart for her age!

I have some portraits of Addison to share. Ofcourse, all in studio since she does best in studio. Seeing portraits of her now compared to this time last year, she has changed alot. She’s now my sassy little toddler, and she’s learning so much from her big sister! Though, even with her tantrums and attitude, she’s still my sweet and cuddly angel.

I haven’t taken any portraits of my own children in awhile. Addison is not one to really pay much attention to me outdoors and I wanted to get outside, so I took my oldest, Kayliana outside instead. Addison does much better in studio. After taking these portraits of Kayliana, I realized how grown up my little girl is now. I can’t believe she will be 4 yrs old in 3 1/2 months. They really do grow up way too fast.

I believe I have some new favorite images of my oldest daughter, Kayliana. Surprisingly, she did very very well for me today while venturing out locally to see what was around. If she keeps this up, she’ll definitely be a wonderful model for me in the future!

The weather is warming up and I’m loving it! I have some sessions coming up next week that I’m really excited about and then, in 2 weeks, my family and I head to Ocean City. I can’t wait. I haven’t been to Ocean City in forever, and I’m glad I’ll finally be able to take my girls there now too. I’ll be bringing my camera ofcourse, and I’ll be out to re-capture one of MY favorite images that I took of my girls over a year ago. My clients seem to love it as well when they walk into my house, so I’m sure they will all love the new one too.

Anyways, here are the new fav portraits of my daughter from today. I can’t wait until Addison is old enough to work well with me too.

Has everyone had enough of the rain yet?? Soon we’ll be swimming everywhere if it doesn’t let up. The rain has been keeping me indoors for portraiture too, and it’s driving me crazy. I’m ready for some nice weather, beautiful scenery and gorgeous outdoor photos. My girls and I are getting a little antsty being inside practically all week long. We are very outdoorsy people and love to go outside, and this rain has us feeling like we are on house arrest. I’m so looking forward to the nicer weather!
