I hope that everyone had a great holiday and a wonderful New Year. As most of you know, December is my month off, it’s my time with my family since our holidays are so busy with traveling to so many locations to visit family. But, it is January now, and I’m starting to book sessions again.

I do have a few changes to announce. Due to recent and current remodeling to my home, my studio only has room for no more than two children at a time. My studio portraits will, for now, be solely newborn portraiture and children’s portraiture. Maternity portraits, family portraits, and portraits with more than 2 children will have to be done on location. I can help you choose your location if you need help.

A new offer that I am promoting this year, is that when you book a Newborn session, you will receive a $25 print credit for a 6 Month Old session. This is a print credit only, and does not count towards the session fee. A session fee must be paid when booking a 6 Month Old session.

With that said, I’d like to announce that my husband and I are currently expecting our 3rd baby at the end of June. I will probably accept booked sessions up to the 2nd week in June and then I will take some time off while we are adjusting to having 3 little ones around our house.

I look forward to getting back to work, and I can’t wait for Spring to arrive so that I can do more outdoor portraits as well. I’m not a fan of winter, so I’m already ready for the warmer weather to get here.

Yep, I was busy today with two sessions. My 2nd one was with my sister and her boys. Littlest one didn’t have much interest, but her oldest was a ham for me.

Last weekend I was supposed to have a family with this session, but due to the weather and another mis-hap, we rescheduled for this Saturday. Unfortunately, the beautiful fall colors have vanished and winter is well on it’s way, but I think we got some great shots of this family! The kids were so funny and cute! For having a session later on in the day and the kids being tired they were absolutely terrific to work with! I’ve never seen such well behaved kids after nap and lunch time. Thank you J for letting me photograph your family. It was great meeting you and your family. I hope that you enjoy your sneak peak!

Christmas is right around the corner, and I was able to prepare with some Christmas shots of my girls. I’m excited to see my kids faces on Christmas morning! My oldest is finally starting to grasp the idea of Santa and everything so I know that she’s going to be thrilled to see what Santa has brought her this year.

Today, I had a reshoot with newborn baby girl L! Today we were able to get some really cute shots of L and a few more family portraits!

It’s fall and while the leaves are not 100% turned they are turning… it’s going to make for beautiful portraits near the end of the month and for November! I have a special going on, check my blog posts below for details if you are interested!

I had a pretty large family session today, and am hoping that the Dad to the 2 little girls comes my way so that I can get their pretty little faces in my studio and get some of them alone. He’s in the military and about to move away so he wanted to get family portraits done before he leaves.

In the mean-time, I have some portraits I’d like to drop off of my girls. My studio is finally in a spare bedroom of my house rather than my den, so I had to ensure that everything was still ready to go

Well, we are back from vacation, and I’m back to booking sessions. Our vacation at Disney World with our daughters was a great one. We had so much fun. While on vacation, we went to the gulf coast in Florida and attempted to get sunset portraits of the girls, however, a storm started to roll in almost immediately when we got there, but on our way walking to the beach, I did get an adorable portrait of my 2 girls walking together. I can’t wait to get back to Florida though, and get my sunset portraits I’ve been long awaiting for.

Yesterday, I was supposed to take 2 year portraits with this little guy, but unfortunately he wasn’t having it. So, today we did family portraits and he did much much better. He’s similar to Addison when trying to do outdoor portraits with her. I guess it’s pretty common with 2 year olds to be too occupied with the outside world.

Anyways, this is a friend of mine’s family. We’ve been friends for quite awhile so I’m glad I was able to finally get some family pictures of the 3 of them.

I just wanted to mention a few things to let all of my clients and inquiring clients know the happenings that is going on in my business.

Secondly, I’d like to announce that for the month of September, my business will be closed. I will be renovating my studio and moving it to a different room of my home. My daughters’ birthdays are also this month, so it’s a family month for us here in our household, and we will be on vacation from September 18th through September 28th. During this period if I have not answered your emails or phone calls, please know that I will get to them when we return home from vacation.

However, if you are looking to have a Newborn session done, please contact me asap. I will do my best to squeeze a newborn session in before I leave or immediately when I return home from vacation. Newborn sessions are important and can not wait. Just a reminder that I do newborn sessions for ages 3 weeks and under.
