Heather Chapman Photography is in search of 3 new adorable models! Searching for ages Newborn to Age 7. Are you due between August and December? If so, you can submit a picture of your baby bump or ultrasound image and it will qualify you to enter. Your child must be from 0-7 years old between August and December, when the session would take place.
The images will be posted on my Facebook page on July 24, 2011. Voting will last one week (end date July 30, 2011). The winners will be announced and contacted by August 1st. You must claim your winnings by August 6th. The 3 photos with the most votes, will win.
Rules:
*You may enter 1 child, with the exception of twins between ages 0 and 1 year.
*Only the child you are entering may be in the submitted picture or it will be declined
*Photo must be of YOUR child only. You can not enter someone else’s child, even if you are family.
*Photos should not be that of another photographers, and must be your own.
*By submitting a photo, you give Heather Chapman Photography permission to post the photo on her facebook page for voting purposes.
*Must be willing to sign a model release giving Heather Chapman Photography permission to use the images she takes during your session for her website or marketing purposes.
*You accept that all sessions will be done on location only (including newborn portraits)
*Must be willing to travel to the Sarasota or Charlotte County area for their session.
How voting works:
Voting is quite simple. Have all of your friends and family “like” my Facebook page and then click “like” on your childs picture. The 3 pictures with the most votes will win.
What you receive:
*Complimentary session that will last approximately an hour to an hour and a half with the exception of newborn portraits, which may take longer.
*A free 8×10 of the image of their choice
*Two free 5x7s of the images of their choice
*15-25 Edited images in an online, password protected gallery
*20% off additional prints
How to enter:
SIMPLE! Email your child’s picture to heather@chapmansphoto.com with their name and date of birth or expected due date.

I swear, this families portraits should be in one of those frames you buy at the store with the picture already in it. They are just so happy. LOVE it!
If I had a picture like this of my own family, it would be blown up big on a canvas in my house! It turned out beautifully, I think.

I had a lovely family come to my studio today. A little 8 month old boy and a 3yr old pretty girl. This is the second time I’ve been able to photograph this little girl, and now, she’s got a baby brother to share the spotlight with.

This little princess is just 6 days old. We got her in super fast and I’m sure glad we did. This session went amazing. Baby S slept the entire time and was so well behaved. She only fussed a few times when I moved her where she didn’t want. Sessions that go as smoothly as this one makes me a bit sad that I’ll never photograph another newborn of my very own.

Took a few shots of 2 of my kids today for their Easter portraits. Little man did not want to sit still so they are just basic. It took me like a 1/2 hr to even get a handful of him because he’s so quick. Addison did very well. She used to want nothing to do with portraits but she’s definitely turning into that little girl that likes to be photographed. She picked out her dress and I made her a bow to match.

There are some exciting changes for my business under way for the year 2011. I have two new programs I am offering that some of you may be interested in! My welcome packet and contract will all now be virtual. I am currently working on signatures for the contract and model releases that can be done online, but for now, the signatures will remain on paper until we can get a virtual signature available. And, for those that are repeat clients, be on the lookout for something special for you guys!
For starters, just as everything usually goes up, so does my session fee every few years. After much thought and consideration I have decided to raise my session fee.
- In studio Session Fee – $75.00
- On location Session Fee – $100.00
These fee’s include sales tax. Along with this session fee, all of my 2011 clients from here on out will get a complimentary CD of the web-sized images that they will be able to use for online purposes only. There will no longer be a need to purchase this CD separately (a usual $15 cost.)
And for the most exciting news for myself, and hopefully some of my new and past clients, my 2 new programs!
